Anne Dulgeroff
Our mission is to enhance and enrich the education of each and every child at La Jolla Elementary.
To our LJES community,
We are honored to be leading the Friends of LJES Foundation in the 2026-27 school year. The emphasis on our mission this year is intentional. Friends is focused on keeping our mission front and center and allotting funds in ways that help enhance and enrich the education of each and every child by:
- Putting kids (families) first
- Building Community
- Fostering Gratitude towards one another
We believe that in doing this, Friends can make a tremendous difference in all of our children’s and teacher’s experiences at La Jolla Elementary.
Our school is so lucky to have such a robust foundation, and this is not because of us, this is because of YOU.
Our families are dedicated, enthusiastic, generous and welcoming.
The strength and depth of our foundation is due to the generosity of you donating your time, your treasure and your talent (sometimes all 3)! Friends is 100% fueled by you, and we are so grateful.
Your generosity, plus the Friends of LJES mission has allowed us to allot funding to a number of incredible enhancements to our school next year (keep in mind, this is nowhere near the complete list of Friends funded programs 😊):
- 3 additional FULL-TIME classroom teachers
- The LJES weekly art program for all students, including our wonderful art
teacher, Ms. Hannah - The LJES enrichment wheel and Maker Space – including Ms. Mary Sue and
FULL-TIME Spanish teacher! - 4 part-time support teachers for students requiring additional Math and
Reading attention - Additional Curriculum programs not funded by SDUSD
Our mission is to enhance and enrich the education of each and every child at La Jolla Elementary.
