About Fundraising
Community-driven efforts that help strengthen our school and support student success.
Support La Jolla Elementary
At La Jolla Elementary, we believe every child deserves an exceptional education and a vibrant learning environment. While public school budgets consistently face ongoing challenges, our foundation and community work together to ensure our students have everything they need to thrive.
Your generosity directly funds the essential resources that elevate our children’s educational experience, including:
- Additional teachers and support staff
- Up-to-date learning materials
- Extracurricular and after-school enrichment programs
Two Ways to Make a Difference
Whether you contribute financially or offer your time, your involvement creates a supportive and engaging learning environment for all students.

Your Direct Impact
Become a donor
Provides the critical financial backing needed to retain excellent teachers and fund academic resources that district budgets cannot cover.

LJES EVENTS
DONATIONS & PARENT VOLUNTEER
ANNUAL GIVING CAMPAIGN
AUGUST - DECEMBER 2025
As we gear up for the new school year, we renew our commitment to providing an enriched education. We are a public school and we face significant resource constraints that hinder our ability to achieve our goals including bridging the gap between public funding and resources we need. In addition to monetary donations, volunteers are always welcome to help with AGC events.
ANNUAL SPRING GALA
SATURDAY, MARCH 14, 2026
Our annual spring gala is the party of the year and is a “must attend” event. This event requires hundreds of hours of parent power, for jobs big and small. We’ll take any minute you can offer! There are many opportunities and its easy to find something you like!
Please speak to the 2026 Gala Chair, Carolina Tiller if you are interested in volunteering.
ART AND WINE FESTIVAL
OCTOBER 10-11, 2026
All profits raised at this 2 day event benefit underfunded programs such as art, music, science, physical education, technology and on-site medical care at all La Jolla public schools.
The event is held on Genter Street with more than 170 artist, craft beer garden and over 35 international wineries.
LJ OPEN AIRE MARKET
EVERY SUNDAY 9.00am-1.00pm
The La Jolla Open Aire Market is different than other farmers markets in that all proceeds from the market fund various initiatives enjoyed by all children at LJES, including school improvements and programs such as art, music, library, technology and additional classroom teachers to lower class sizes. And many volunteer opportunities exist throughout the year!
