Hello La Jolla Elementary!
It is with great excitement that I introduce myself as the new principal of La Jolla Elementary School. I am honored to join such a close-knit school community with a long-standing tradition of excellence and a deep commitment to students, families, and community.
I am proud to be in education and I am deeply committed to fostering a school community where every student is known, valued, challenged, and supported to reach their fullest potential. I believe each and every student can learn and grow in a rich, loving classroom and school environment.
I pride myself on relationships and throughout my career, have prioritized building a culture grounded in relationships, high expectations, continuous improvement, joy, and belonging.
It is my firm belief that each and every child will be successful. I believe in educating the whole child in a school community that fosters passion, joy, inquiry, critical thinking, a love for learning, and belonging. These tenets are the foundation upon which students’ success and potential are realized.
La Jolla Elementary has a strong reputation for academic excellence and a supportive community. I look forward to working alongside the talented teachers and staff to continue building on this strong foundation while ensuring that every student is challenged, inspired, and supported in their learning journey.
Equally important is the partnership between school and home. I value open communication and collaboration, and I look forward to working closely with families and community members to support the continued success and well-being of all students and staff.
As I begin my time at La Jolla Elementary, I am eager to listen and learn from the entire school community. I look forward to getting to know our students, our staff, connecting with our families, and honoring the traditions that make this school such a special place.
