San Diego Unified’s Vision 2030Â highlights that involvement by parents, community members and the business community is essential to the success of San Diego Unified and its students. As we continue to create quality schools in every neighborhood and establish them as neighborhood learning centers, participation from our families, community members and business partners is more important and necessary than ever. There are a many ways for interested individuals and organizations to get involved at both the school site and district levels.
BECOME A FRIENDS VOLUNTEER
We have a number of events throughout the year that require volunteers and we would love to hear from you if you have the time to volunteer. Volunteer opportunities vary from event to event. Usually, the event chair will send out a list of opportunities using Sign-up Genius. Also, our PTO hosts many events throughout the year and also relies on parent volunteers.
